Set in 3100 AD, Merchants of Brooklyn: M.O.B. challenges gamers to plunge themselves in a futuristic world that confronts mankind’s ancient past with its technological future as cloned Neanderthals walk the planet again. The simple but physically strong creatures find themselves with unexpected freedom, and as a Neanderthal themselves, gamers will need to battle their way from becoming extinct once more. 
Merchants takes place in Brooklyn, New York in the year 3100 AD. Rising sea levels resulting from global warming have swallowed up the land and humanity now lives in buildings constructed on top of the old city. The rich live in the highest spires while the poor are left to fend for themselves in the dangerous lower levels. The game’s main character is a cloned Neandrathal, bred for hard labor, who decides to escape the undercity and lead fellow clones in a revolt against the upper class. You’ll use a variety of futuristic weaponry, as well as your biomechanical arm, to fight your way to the top of the city. |
